Dito makikita mo ang kagandahan ng Tacloban. So here are the list where you can visit here in Tacloban :

San Juanico Bridge

San Juanico bridge is the longest bridge here in the Philippines. Going to Leyte or Samar usually would not be complete without the standard photo-stop opportunity in perhaps its single most popular landmark, the San Juanico Bridge.

San Juanico Bridge is truly a magnificent and captivating landmark that one should not miss when in Tacloban.

Leyte Capitol Building

Leyte Capitol Building or Kapitolyo is located at the Sen. Enage and Magsaysay Boulevard. Many people often to came in this place to take pictures because of the neoclassical design. “pak! Oh picture muna bago practice 😂”

This is also a place where they enjoy to go to and also some students went here to do their school activities like role playing, making films and dance practice area. As you can see the background of our selfie it has a wide range of green grass where we can practice.

The history of Kapitolyo remarks in everyone’s heart, the history of the first Christian mass held in Limasawa and Gen. Douglas MacArthur who came here in the Philippines that was happened in Palo, Leyte. The history of Kapitolyo was the remarkable place for everyone that’s why a lot of people loves to go here often times.

Tacloban City Astrodome

Astrodome is a wide place building that can accomulate thousand of peole inside. This place is use if there are events.

Beside astrodome you can find the Yolanda Memorial Monument. Where in thousands of names are sculpted there so that people can remember the yolanda victims.

Before there is only a wide range area of space beside tacloban astrodome but now there is a park beside it. Astrodome is now a beautiful place to go with you can finally find yourself relax and have a peace of mind. They set park for childrens who wants to play and have fun with their families. This is really a beautiful place to make tambay with friends, jamming, have fun and Enjoy Lifeee!

Now the delicacies of tacloban City. There are many delicacies here in Tacloban City and it is delicious 😀

Binagol

Bonagol is one of the delicacies of tacloban leyte. It is inside of a coconut shell and has a sweet taste. It is made of Glutinous rice and taro pudding with nuts and there’s also a mixture of kalamay and a brown sugar. It was called binagol because the waray waray of a coconut shell is “bagol”. It is good for “Pasalubong” for only 100 pesos each. Many tourists visit here just to buy this binagol.

Chocolate Moron

Chocolate moron is a chocolate “kakanin” that is wrapped in banana leaf, moron is always serve in every occasion especially fiesta because of it’s sweetness and the combination of chocolate mixture and white coating. In order it become delicious, you have to balance the mixture of the white coating mixture and chocolate mixture. This is the one of the best delicacy in tacloban. Many children love to it chocolate moron because of its swetness.

Suman Latik

Suman latik is also a sweet and delicious delicacy here in tacloban leyte. It is made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, brown sugar or calamay. It is also wrapped in banana leaf that makes it sweet and tasty. You can also eat this during breakfast. “lalo siyang nagiging masarap dahil sa calamay” 😀
